Kentucky has the nation's highest smoking and lung cancer rates.  And too many Kentuckians are exposed to secondhand smoke at work and in public places, increasing their risk of lung cancer, heart disease and other serious illnesses.  A statewide law to make all indoor workplaces smoke-free will reduce tobacco's toll on Kentucky and protect everyone's right to breathe clean air.
